Find the perfect tablecloth for any occasion

When picking the correct tablecloth size, drop, and dimensions, consider the following:

Measure your table: Take accurate measurements of your table's length, width, and height. These measurements will serve as the basis for selecting the appropriate tablecloth size.
Determine the drop length: The drop is the amount of fabric that hangs down from the edge of the table. To calculate the drop length, decide how much you want the tablecloth to overhang. A standard drop is around 8-12 inches, but you can adjust it based on your preference and the occasion.
Consider the occasion: The type of event or occasion can influence the choice of tablecloth size. For formal events, a longer drop and a floor-length tablecloth may be preferred. For casual or outdoor settings, a shorter drop and a smaller tablecloth may be suitable.
Factor in table leaves: If your table has extension leaves, measure the table with the leaves inserted to ensure you choose a tablecloth that fits when the table is fully extended.

Here’s a chart that will help determine the best size for your table. These sizes are flexible depending on the drop length you’d like. As a general rule, the longer the drop, the more formal the look. You’ll also want a longer drop when you prefer to hide the legs of the table (or the extra supplies you are stashing underneath).

Crafted from a fine linen-cotton blend and finished with a delicate hemstitched border, the 70 x 70-inch square works beautifully on card tables and round tables up to 60 inches, while the 70 x 130-inch rectangle is designed for rectangular or oval dining tables seating 8–12. Each piece is printed and stitched by artisans in India.

Care Instructions

This limited edition item is made from fabric crafted by artisans in India. As such, irregularities are normal and make each piece unique. Please treat your linens with extra care.

• Spot clean stains
• Hand wash or wash separately in cold water on gentle cycle
• Hang to dry
• Iron on cotton setting on reverse side.
• All items are safe to be dry cleaned.

Delivery & Returns

Free standard shipping on orders over $300 (in the contiguous U.S.). Please allow 2-3 business days for order handling. Orders usually arrive within 2-5 business days after shipment. As of now, we do not fulfill orders internationally.

Sweetgrass returns must be made within 30 days of delivery. You may return the unused item to us for store credit only. We will only accept returns for items that have not been used or altered in any way. Read our full policy here.
